The Eagles are thrilled to announce that ex Australian Diamonds vice-captain and Queensland Firebirds captain, Gabi Simpson, has been appointed as the Head Coach of the Redlands Coast Eagles Academy.
With an illustrious career at both international and elite national levels, Simpson brings a wealth of high-performance experience, leadership, and passion for player development. As a former Diamonds vice-captain and long-standing Firebirds leader, she has been a driving force in Australian netball, known for her exceptional defensive skills, strategic mindset, and commitment to mentoring the next generation of netballers.
The Redlands Coast Eagles Academy is designed to develop young netball talent in the region, providing athletes with elite training, skill development, and leadership pathways. Under Simpson’s guidance, academy players will have access to world-class coaching and invaluable insights from one of Australia’s most respected netballers.
